Ply Gem Trim and Mouldings now available coast-to-coast through Mitten distribution

Published on Tuesday, 12 May, 2015

Brantford ON – Details and accents like trim and mouldings are essential in completing a home’s exterior character. For builders and contractors looking for that finishing touch, the Ply Gem cellular PVC Trim and Mouldings line is now available nationwide through Mitten’s coast-to-coast distribution network.

[object HTMLInputElement]A low-maintenance alternative to traditional wood trim, Ply Gem cellular PVC trim cuts, nails and saws like wood, but does not take on moisture. The product holds paint better, won’t crack or rot, (especially important in damp climates and extreme temperatures), is resistant to insects and does not contain chemicals like treated wood.

Ply Gem Trim and Mouldings are designed to work well with nearly any type of siding and are easier for builders and contractors to install when compared to other trim options, since the cut edges do not need to be sealed or caulked and include pre-notched profiles for installation with siding.

Available in smooth or an authentic woodgrain finish, Ply Gem Trim and Mouldings offer a wide range of design features and versatility that help take a home from simple to stunning. The collection provides an ideal option for Canadian builders and contractors looking for a high-quality, locally distributed alternative to traditional trim products.

This product line complements Ply Gem’s already extensive lineup of more than 20 exterior home product categories, including siding, windows, patio doors, stone veneer, fence, rail, aluminum rainware, designer accents, accessories and more. As a core offering from Ply Gem, the trim and mouldings product category is part of The Designed Exterior, a holistic exterior solution from a single source.
